Finally, Dogs Have a Good Place to Shop in the Hamptons

The Hamptons: a magical place where private helicopters are more prevalent than Uber, and now, where one-percent pets finally have a spa-slash-salon of their very own. Page Six reports that Upper East Side shop The Dog Store has opened a Hamptons outpost, a place that has been described by one visitor as "like Barneys for dogs."

"You watch the cars pile up in the morning, one Porsche, Maserati or Ferrari after another," owner Edward Alava told the paper. "People come in here before a class at Barry's, drop off their dogs for grooming, and want them ready when class is over."

Inside, expect to find a rainbow of leather leashes that range from $70 to $300, faux-suede dog ottomans, a biweekly Champagne "Yappy Hour" for dog owners to mingle, and, if the store's Instagram account is any clue, regular private harp concerts for dogs, because if there's anything animals appreciate, it's classical strings:
