Ever dreamed of working out with Wolverine? When DogPound fitness comes to Hudson Square, you'll have the chance to sweat it out next to the actor that played him. Commercial Observer reports that the Hugh Jackman-led company has singed a lease for 511 Canal Street that's slated to open sometime this fall.

At this point, you're probably like, "What? Hugh Jackman has a fitness company?" False. In fact, Hugh Jackman has an underground workout club for the dads he met at his kids' school, according to Vulture. Every morning, they play the Rocky theme song and fling giant hammers in the name of X-Men–worthy arms. No word on whether the music selection will remain the same when DogPound opens to the public, but we'll keep you posted.

In other fitness news, Barry's Bootcamp appears to be following through on that ambitious plan to open up to a dozen NYC gyms by the year 2017: The fitness chain confirmed that they've settled on 27th Street and Park Avenue South for their next outpost, and it's slated to open in the spring or summer of next year.

And nearby, signage has been spotted on that newer, three-times as large Tone House coming to Murray Hill, and seems to be on track for its expected winter opening at 32 East 31st Street.
