The Sergio Rossi Sample Sale Has 3,000 Pairs of Shoes

The Sergio Rossi sample sale officially opens at Metropolitan Pavilion today at 9am, but we stopped by yesterday's VIP hours to see what's in stock — and we were pretty happy with our findings. If you're wondering whether or not this sale is worth a trip, keep in mind that there are literally 3,000 pairs of shoes up for grabs (we heard this right from the sale organizer's mouth).

Prices range from $125 to $400, and everything is organized according to size. There are literally mountains of shoes beginning at a size 34 and going up to 42. And although full sizes rule the floor, there is still a nice selection of half sizes, so if you're a true 37.5, not to worry — there are absolutely shoes for you.

The merchandise comes from a culmination of seasons and includes styles like embellished evening sandals for $400, classic pumps for $175, biker boots for $300, and pony skin high tops for $175. We also a whole bunch of those killer Atalia suede booties from last year for $400. (This sale had a strict no-photo policy.)

Male Sergio Rossi fans might want to check this sale out earlier than later — although there is a decent selection of men's shoes, the women's section seriously dominates. You'll find men's shoes in sizes 6 to 12 in styles that include a studded suede pair of loafers for $250, high top sneakers for $200, and sandals for $175.

Before you head out (or maybe even before you start to look for shoes), check out the little accessories table towards the front. There, you'll find chokers for $50, bracelets for $25, embellished minaudiéres for $400, and large black leather bags for $350.
