The Gant Sample Sale Is Now Cheaper and Longer

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Missed the Gant sample sale because you were too busy recovering from the Fourth of July and fighting your way through a five-day work week? Well now, you have no excuses: 260 Sample Sale has just extended its sale through this Sunday, and have added even further reductions. While the markdowns weren't specified, we knows that means you won't pay more than $45 for a plaid shirt or a cotton dress, more than $50 for pants or shorts, or more than $150 for heavy outerwear that you can buy now and wear later.

Check out what we found at last week's preview for a better idea of what you'll find; we're expecting more of the same, with an even spread of sizes and a slant on more menswear than women's apparel. If their all-American look isn't exactly your thing, then you might want to save your dollars for the high-end contemporary looks at Proenza Schouler or the clog heaven that is the No. 6 basement sale, both of which are hitting the shopping scene later this week.
