The Rag & Bone General Store Won't Be Your Typical Rag & Bone Store

The designers behind Rag & Bone are continuing their quest for world domination — or, at very least, New York City domination. After expanding their empire from a denim line to a robust business with men's and women's apparel, shoes, and accessories, Marcus Wainwright and David Neville are setting their eyes on the Upper East Side with a whole new kind of store in mind.

In a WWD profile, the pair revealed that they will open their seventh New York store, which will be "an experimental retail concept," 1273 Third Avenue (this address formerly housed a Brandy Melville). Called the Rag & Bone General Store, it'll have a "minimalistic" aesthetic of "white with black accents." Customers will find the store stocked with men's and women's jeans, accessories, and shoes, though it wasn't specified whether this merchandise would be any different from what you'd find in other outposts.

There isn't an official opening date set just yet — the paper says it'll happen "soon," like some other stores out there.
