New York Fashion Week: Men's will return for the Fall 2016 collections as intended, but with a (slightly) new home and dates. According to WWD, the shows will now take place February 1st to the 4th at Skylight Clarkson North, just up the street from where the shows were held in July (so this guide is still mostly relevant). Women's shows will officially begin on the 11th.

"American menswear has never been stronger or more creative," CFDA CEO Steven Kolb said of a separate men's fashion week back in February, adding "We're not trying to be London, Milan or Paris. This will be New York and America. American menswear designers are equally as creative and deserve their own platform."

To make sure the designers get all of the attention they deserve, the new dates —shifting up from January 28th to the 31st — align better with the European men's shows that end in Paris on January 30th. "With the proximity of the men's and women's shows and the schedule in Europe, we're pushing our dates to accommodate the maximum number of retailers and editors," said Mark Beckham, the business director of fashion week for the CFDA.

We look forward to the glory of NYFWM, including fancy vapes, actual food instead of passed apps, behind-the-scenes shenanigans, and genetically-blessed men when the shows return next February.
