Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

For those of you checking out for the first of many glorious summer Fridays, staying in town can work in your favor: The four sample sales that are saluting America by staying open this weekend are bound to keep you busy.

To start, Yumi Kim's massive sale is still happening in Nolita at 40 Prince Street. (it ends May 31st). You'll find women's silk and beaded dresses, tops and accessories for up to 80% off. It's open daily from noon to 8pm.

There's also James Perse wrapping up at 260 Fifth Avenue, before part two at 151 Wooster Street starts on Tuesday. There are dressings rooms (!!) so no excuse if you're not sure of your size. When we checked in earlier this week, there were soft tees galore for $30 apiece, plus skirts and shorts for $50 and dresses for $60. Men will find button-downs for $60 and polo shirts and graphic tops for $50, and both genders have cashmere sweaters at $120 (originally $400 and up) and activewear styles from the brand's Yosemite line. Stop by tonight until 7pm, Saturday between 10am and 7pm, or Sunday from 10am through 5pm.

Theory is also continuing their men's sale this weekend at Chelsea Market, with apparel prices going for up to 60% off retail. Meander through the sales room through 7pm tonight, Saturday from 10am to 7pm, or on Sunday from 10am to 5pm.

And as we had hoped, 3.1 Phillip Lim has extended their sale through Sunday (but they haven't extended the number of Pashli bags available, which is zero). Much of the stock we've seen throughout the week has been from the fall 2014 collections—check out galleries here and here with examples of styles available. You'll have to check it out for yourself to see what's left with shoes and bags. Head there tonight until 7pm, Saturday between 10am and 7pm, or drop by early on Sunday between 10am and 3pm. PS: we're hoping for markdowns going into the weekend as well.
