The What Goes Around Comes Around Vintage Sample Sale Has Additional Discounts

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Earlier this week, we checked out the What Goes Around Comes Around sample sale. The vintage store, located right around the corner from the 260 Sample Sale location, is a New York City insider favorite with painstakingly curated vintage designer goods, and most importantly, luxe bags.

A couple of days into the sale, discounts have hit. All clothing is an additional 20% off, while luxury accessories are an additional 15% off. That translate to Louis Vuitton Speedys starting at $385, Neverfulls starting at $635 and Keepalls starting at $975.

What's also great is that there's still plenty to choose from, meaning tables are stacked high with classic Louis Vuitton bags and there are shelves of covetable classic Chanel bags. The sale is pretty Louis Vuitton and Chanel-heavy, but there was a table of Gucci — we found ourselves drawn to a hot pink crossbody Soho bag for $660 (see it in the gallery above). Other brands such as Maison Goyard, Prada, Balenciaga, and Hermès are in the mix, too.

While you're there, make sure to take full advantage of the additional 20% clothing discount. We found a pristine printed Hermès jacket for $680 and a winter-ready shearling coat for $120. Also, make sure to take the time to rummage through the $10, $20, and $50 bins full of the store's archival clothing for vintage concert tee-shirt gems.
