Eberjey's One-Day Sample Sale Is Already Getting Cleaned Out

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

We stopped by the Eberjey sample sale at 183 Madison Avenue this morning after the doors opened at 9am, and while the prices are low enough to be enticing, there wasn't much left to see less than two hours in. If you are planning on going, note that the entrance to the building is on 34th Street between Madison and Park Avenues.

Pricing is as follows: bras are $30, with the exception of tulle styles for $20; for undies, silk and lace ones are $20, and tulle is $15; boxers are $25; camis are $40; short chemises are $50, while long styles are $60; teddies and bodysuits are $60; silk and lace tops are $60, just lace tops are $50, and tulle tops are $30; silk pants are $60, lace leggings are $50, and tulle leggings are $30; silk half-slips are $40; and lace dresses are $60, while tulle dresses are $40.

It looks like there are mostly short chemises ($50) and silk half-slips ($40) left. We liked a purple silk style with lace trim. We also saw a pair of black and white polka dot silk and lace undies ($20). There is one rack of silky, lacy Vannina Vesperini to the right after walking through the doors.

Eberjey apparel starts on left, with a few racks of pajamas and robes. PJ sets are $50, and we saw a very cozy red fleece style. Robes are also $50 — there aren't many left, but a white lacy style stood out. There are a few chemises ($35), but those were going fast this morning. We were hoping to find a few teddies ($35), but didn't spot any.

Pajama separates ($25), swimsuits ($50), coverups ($50), undies ($15), and a few camis ($25) and bras ($20) are hanging up on a rack along the back of the room. There wasn't much to see, and sizing wasn't clearly marked. This is also where you'll find swimwear and coverups for girls for $30 apiece.

Tops ($25) and bralettes ($20) are packaged in bins in the center of the room, arranged according to size — we didn't see any smalls. There are more bins of pajamas and camis along the right-hand wall, but we mostly saw neon green bralettes ($20) and floral PJ separates ($10) here.

There are no fitting rooms, and you shouldn't expect any restocking since the sale only runs through 7pm tonight; check out the Dealfeed below for more details.
