What's more American than a mall? East Rutherford's forthcoming luxury shopping center American Dream is answering that question with its latest round of confirmed stores that are a little less Saks Fifth Avenue and Hermès and more — well, exactly like every other mall

According to megamall developers Triple Five (they built the Mall of America, too), shoppers can expect to see Gap, Banana Republic, Lululemon, Victoria's Secret and a separate Pink store, Microsoft, and M.A.C when American Dream opens in about two years from now — they're aiming for late summer 2017 at the moment, after several delays. The insane mega-complex will also house less typical, but not really surprising, brands like Aritzia, Zara, and Uniqlo.

In between the price point for Hermès and Gap are more moderately-priced department stores like Saks Off Fifth and Lord & Taylor. And those FAO Schwarz rumors are just that for now—rumors. Of course, with plans for a water park, an aquarium, an amusement park, an indoor ski slope, and more, it'll be a wonder how anyone gets any shopping done at the site.
