Out with one mall brand, and in with another. That's the story of 640 Fifth Avenue, which lost Forever 21 a few weeks ago after just seven months (and a giant sale) and will eventually be replaced by none other than Victoria's Secret, The Real Deal reports. The commercial lingerie brand has signed a 16-year lease for the flagship store at the corner of 51st Street, meaning it likely won't be coming to that vertical mall slated to rise above Zara just up the street.

And while this store will indeed be huge — at 63,780 square feet, it's just slightly larger than the biggest H&M in the world at Herald Square, for comparison — VS won't be taking up the entire available retail space. A 3,230 square-foot store space that features 25 feet of frontage along Fifth Avenue remains available to lease, the real estate publication adds.

Nearby VS stores include 57th Street at Madison Avenue and 58th Street at Lexington Avenue, so it's not like shoppers here are experiencing a void of padded bras in this neighborhood. And those are the stores that they'll have to be shopping for the next year, anyway — this location likely won't open until November 2016, just in time for the fashion show.
