Asics Returns for a Giant Warehouse Sale, Despite Closing All Its Stores

High Snobiety

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Asics may have made a sudden exit from West 42nd Street — and thus the brick-and-mortar scene in general — but that doesn't mean we've seen the last of its bright shoes and comfy gear. Starting November 3rd, the running brand is hosting a five-day warehouse sale with up to 80% off retail prices, which it's billing as a celebration of the New York City Marathon the weekend prior.

This could be one of many dwindling opportunities to shop Asics in-person, with the added bonus of some awesome deals — nothing is off limits for men's, women's, and even children's footwear, apparel, and accessories. This includes things like Fujitrail hoodies, down to $34.99 (from $100), and everyday liner gloves down to ($4.99 from $12).

No word on the specific range of styles and clothing that will be on offer, but if the last sale is any indication, we should expect a lot more $50 sneakers. Check out the Dealfeed below for more sale details.
