Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Next Tuesday is gearing up to be a great day to shop for the people left on your holiday gift list. The latest addition to our sample sale calendar for next week is John Varvatos, who's headed to 151 Wooster Street in Soho on December 15th to offer up to 80% off retail prices on edgy men's apparel and accessories — everything from tailored blazers and shirts for work to leather jackets and jeans for play — throughout the week.

It's not often you'll find the American label, which closed out this past summer's New York Fashion Week: Men's three-day run, at its own standalone sale. You're usually finding comparable discounts within multi-brand sales like Scoop NYC or the Barneys warehouse sale (rest in peace), so brand fans will definitely want to head in to check out the largest selection in one place since its event in Chelsea Market last December.

The Varvatos sale is joining brands like Equipment, Joie, and Current/Elliot, luxury consignment shop What Goes Around Comes Around, and indie designers Tanya Taylor and Jonathan Simkhai in offering serious discounts to New York City shoppers next week.
