Before you think that Nike is just another brand hopping on the early holiday season pop-up shop train, consider the theme — it's actually perfectly timed to the city's November weather. Located at 135 Bowery, Hike Nike NYC (try not to pronounce it like "Nike Hike-y," it's actually really difficult) is a temporary storefront that launched last Friday. It offers shoppers the chance to be among the first to purchase men's and women's SneakerBoots ($120—$200), as well as Tech Fleece Aeroloft, that'll make you want to head outside even as the temperatures dip lower and lower.

You can also find items from the Nike Sportswear collection and cool capsule pieces, and preview the NikeLab ACG collection before it officially launches on December 2nd. And to take advantage of the peak foliage the region's experiencing right now, Nike is hosting five scheduled hikes that will explore the city's local cultural scene, from music to the arts.

You must reserve a spot to attend, and the hikes are already filling up — be sure to check out Nike's site for exact dates and times. Hike Nike NYC is open from 12pm to 7pm between Wednesdays and Sundays through Thanksgiving weekend.
