Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

CHELSEA—Consider this your perfect excuse to stop by the Museum at FIT's latest exhibit, devoted to 80's NYC nightlight queen Susanne Bartsch. From tomorrow through Sunday, the museum (227 Seventh Ave) will hold a Designers & Book Fair, where you'll find reads on architecture, graphic design, fashion, interiors, urban life, and more, including Valerie Steele's Fashion Underground: The World of Susanne Bartsch. For more information on times and location, head to the website.

WILLIAMSBURG—Eco-conscious brand Zady is co-hosting a fall fashion swap with the Ethical Writers Coalition. For three hours, you'll be able to scour the closets of your neighbors and grab your favorite items for free instead of purchasing new clothes. Head to Glasshouse Gallery (246 Union Ave) this Saturday from 1pm to 4pm, and you'll also score sparkling wine, music, and if you're among the first 35 guests, an Ayla tote bag. Tickets are $15 and available here.

SOHO—If you needed any more proof it's fall than this sudden chilly weather, the leather mavens at Veda is kicking off its annual coat drive at the flagship store (19 Mercer St) this weekend. Those who bring in a gently used coat or jacket will receive 20% off their same-day purchase, with donated coats going to Coalition for the Homeless. Can't make it this weekend? Veda will accept coats through December, and you can still score a 15% discount.

MIDTOWN—Minnie Rose, a brand known for its cashmere sweaters, is popping up at the Bloomingdale's on 59th Street tomorrow and Saturday from 10am to 6pm. Aside from shopping the fall collection and its new Black Label eveningwear line, designer Lisa Shaller-Goldberg will also be on hand to share tips on fall trends.

MEATPACKING DISTRICT—Join Jay Godfrey at 810 Washington Street tomorrow for a whole afternoon's worth of activities. From 2pm to 7pm, there'll be a create-your-own-choker station with designers from jewelry line Eleanor Kalle, body art by TribeTats, plus the chance to shop Jay Godfrey's fall collection.
