Yesterday marked Givenchy's long-awaited retail return to Madison Avenue, but those aren't the only doors that the Riccardo Tisci-helmed fashion house is opening to New Yorkers. Tomorrow morning starting at 10am, several hundred tickets to the brand's NYFW show on September 11th will be up for grabs to non-fashion insiders.

[Update: Now that we've submitted our RSVP, we're theorizing where this semi-public show might take place.]

WWD reports that 820 tickets will be available for the general public on a first-come, first-serve basis, while another 280 are reserved for students and faculty of local fashion schools like FIT, Parsons, Pratt, and the High School for Fashion Industries. Plus, another 100 seats are set aside for "residents living in proximity to the still-under-wraps show venue," the paper writes.

So in total, that's 1,300 people who are not buyers, fashion editors, celebrities, and the like that'll be in attendance. But even if you grab a ticket, don't expect to be hobnobbing with guests like Kim Kardashian West or Katy Perry—"The public guests will enter their raised viewing area via an entrance separate from that for the industry crowd," WWD says, with that entrance opening at 6pm for a 6:30pm "sunset start."

Those looking to get an idea of what we could see there can't really look to past shows for inspiration—all we really know is that artist Marina Abramovic is involved. "Usually Riccardo's shows are very sleek, with a lot of models but very, very focused," Givenchy CEO Philippe Fortunato told the paper. "This time...it's going to be very generous." He added that the brand "dropped hints" during the menswear show in June about what to expect, but didn't add anything more.

The historic date of the show will play a role, too, says Fortunato: "Despite what happened, the strengths of the American people, the strengths of New York, are even stronger after 9/11 than before 9/11."

To claim your ticket—or at least try to—head to www.givenchynyfw15.com at 10am sharp tomorrow (that's Wednesday, September 2nd), where invitations will be given out on a first-come, first-serve basis. We're expecting these to go in about half a second, so act fast.
