Swords-Smith's Indie Designer Blowout Is Back Next Weekend

Indie favorite Swords-Smith will once again be hosting a multi-designer summer sample sale next weekend. From August 14th through the 16th, stop by the 98 South 4th Street boutique to check out selections from more than 80 different designers, including In God We Trust, Samantha Pleet, and Creatures of Comfort. With most pieces likely under $100 and discounts at up to 90% off, this will definitely be worth visit (or two, or three).

You'll see apparel, accessories, and jewelry for both men and women here; but if last year is any indication, expect womenswear to dominate (and, hopefully, a repeat of that great men's shoe selection). We also noted that there was as much fall clothing on sale as there was spring/summer—making shopping for that seasonal transition we're coming upon a cinch. And while there was restocking last summer, markdowns never came, so make sure you head in early to find the biggest selections of pieces.
