Just two days after American Apparel filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, the brand's Soho Factory Outlet store appears to be in jeopardy. Bowery Boogie reports that there's a giant leasing sign on the store's window at 285 Lafayette Street.

When it opened in 2012, the warehouse promised to offer nearly 7,000 square feet of $10 tees and tanks, samples, one-of-a-kind garments, and up to 90% off merchandise (though on recent visits we haven't found discounts to be quite that high).

The bankruptcy deal allows the company to keep its Los Angeles factory and 130 U.S. stores, but the news follows the closure of the Upper West Side store just a week ago, so the fate of the remaining NYC stores seems murky.
