A Hybrid Sneaker-Lingerie Store Is Trying to Establish Itself in Bushwick

The Rack Shack, a combined lingerie and women's sneaker store, is the boutique that Bushwich never knew it needed. Neighborhood blog Bushwick Daily reports that the store, which spawned from creator Laura Henny's frustration with the selection of bras for bustier women, is in the midst of an Indiegogo campaign to raise the $10,000 it needs to set up shop.

Sneakers and lingerie may seem like an odd combination, but Henny has an explanation. In the campaign's summary, she writes, "The perfect pair of sneakers and the right-fitting lingerie can make the most basic outfit look funky, sexy, and even chic. These essentials can give any woman a great sense of comfort and support enhancing their inherent confidence." Not mentioned: How convenient this one-stop shop would be.

Currently, the campaign has raised a little over $2,500 towards its goal, and is offering perks like underwear, tee-shirts, and goody bags for those who donate and make it come to life.
