The Verameat Outpost Could Be Dunzo In the East Village

Here's your daily update on the myriad of retail changes going down in the East Village and Lower East Side lately: First, over the weekend we noticed that Verameat +, the clothing-focused outpost just a few doors down from the original jewelry-focused flagship, appears to be up for rent.

Update: Vera Balyura of Verameat confirms that yes, the store will be moving, but likely not until after the holidays — the brand's currently in search of a Lower East Side store, and afterwards will relocate.

And a bit farther south, menswear designer and bowtie connoisseur Alexander Olch is relocating his tie shop at 14 Orchard Street to a former Chinese bodega at the corner of Canal and Orchard Streets, Bowery Boogie reports. This, in addition to that art house cinema he's building around the block at 7-11 Ludlow Street.
