Even though there's eight really good sales kicking off today — from Steven Alan to Cheap Monday and friends at The News — all the ones that started earlier this week don't want you to forget about them. That's why they're crying out for your attention with extra discounts: Sale hosts for Alexander McQueen and Alexis Bittar both announced further reductions this morning.

It's the last day for the former in Chelsea, and the discounts weren't specified. The latest reports say that the women's selection is still pretty healthy across clothes, shoes, and accessories, but the men's area was a bit lackluster. Plus, lines should still be expected at peak shopping times like lunch. Meanwhile, at Bittar in Soho, we know that everything (including fine jewelry) is an additional 40% off, so that means pieces like Lucite stud earrings and bangles are now $21, chunky necklaces are $50—$90, and fine jewelry begins at $270.

These reductions are in addition to the ones that have already taken place at Rebecca Minkoff and La Perla, both of which could see even further cuts before they wrap up this weekend. See the links above to get more details about each sale, and check out the full calendar to see what else is going on this week.
