It was only a matter of time. Variety reports that a Clueless musical is currently in the works, and that it'll someday open on Broadway. "I've written what they call ‘the book,' and it's a jukebox musical," says the movie's writer/director Amy Heckerling, adding that it'll be quite a while before it actually hits the stage: "Everything goes so slowly. I thought movies took a long time."

At this point, however, Heckerling says her main problem is exactly the one we care most about: Casting. Who will play the role of Cher—Iggy Azalea? We already know she can sing and looks as good as a blonde person possibly can in yellow plaid.
