It's time to kick off Racked's fourth annual Hottest Trainer competition: our search for the top fitness instructors in New York City. After sifting through all of the reader submissions, we've narrowed it down to sixteen yoga instructors, indoor cycling gurus, barre masters, HIIT trainers, and more.

We'll be rolling out all the contestants over the next several days. Each trainer will get their own post where you'll learn all about who they are and what inspires them—plus, they'll be offering up some of their best fitness tips. Voting will begin on Thursday, August 20th and run through Friday, August 28th. Eight men and eight women will go head-to-head, bracket-style, until one winner is crowned.

Promoting your favorite trainer via social media is key, so if you have a crush, don't be afraid to shout it from the rooftops—or your laptops. We'll be Tweeting, Instagramming, and Facebooking with the hashtag #RackedsHottestTrainers, so feel free to follow along.
