↑ In the West Village, this one-bedroom may be smaller than some of the options available for $3,800, but it makes up for the lack of size with its location—just off of Greenwich Avenue, around the corner from Corner Bistro. The bedroom can allegedly fit a king-sized bed, and the common area has an eat-in kitchen and a spacious living room with exposed-brick walls. ↓ This Battery Park City one-bedroom comes with a stunning view—unsurprising, consider its location—and building amenities like a playroom for kids, a pool, and an on-site park. It's asking $3,765 per month.
↓ Across town in Little Italy, a duplex two-bedroom is asking $3,850, and comes with its own private roof deck (the listing touts it as 600 square feet, but it may be best to take that with a grain of salt). The two levels are connected by a spiral staircase, and with huge windows, the place gets a lot of light.
↓ This two-bedroom apartment, located in a new Carroll Gardens construction, has what the listing calls "a wing of bedrooms" (translation: the bedrooms are all on one side of the apartment), along with a modest balcony. Building amenities include bike storage a private outdoor space, and it's asking $3,750 per month.
↓ If you're amenable to living on Midtown West's Restaurant Row (a.k.a. West 46th Street), then this one-bedroom apartment could be yours. It has some nice details—built-in bookshelves, two fireplaces (one a real wood-burning one), hardwood floors and antique fixtures—and occupies the entire second floor of the building. It's asking $3,750 per month.
↓ Finally, in Forest Hills, a whole house is available to rent for $3,800 per month. The gut-renovated home is a 1930s townhouse with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a little over 1,000 square feet of space. It also has a marble-fronted fireplace, new kitchen, and what the listing touts as a "library."
