What $2,600/Month Can Rent You In New York City

↑ A Brooklyn Heights apartment with a bedroom as small as its kitchen is asking $2,600. Its listing bills the apartment's great location, which usually means it doesn't have much else going for it, but it at least has a decorative marble fireplace and crown moldings.
↓ A closet studio on Horatio Street in the West Village is going for an even $2,600. It's been recently updated with new stainless steel appliances and a marble bathroom. Other niceties include recessed lighting and a communal garden for tenants.

↓ In Williamsburg, a one-bedroom in a new construction building has a private terrace, washer/dryer, dishwasher, and queen-sized bedroom. The apartment's just a few blocks away from McCarren and McGolrick parks, and is equally as close to Newtown Creek. It's asking $2.600.

↓ There's not a whole lot to see inside of this bland Alphabet City one-bedroom, so good thing the apartment comes with rooftop access overlooking the East Village. The corner apartment comes with a renovated kitchen (if you could call it that), a bedroom that measures 10 x 10, and a windowed bathroom. It's asking $2,625.

↓ Drywall is optional in Stuyvesant Heights, where a two-bedroom apartment in a converted factory is asking $2,595. The apartment still has original factory flair, like it's wide-plan oak floor, but has been updated with a modern black kitchen and new bathroom.

↓ This Astoria apartment is one of two in a private house. It comes with new hardwood floors and a huge yet dated eat-in kitchen. Although the apartment is billed as a 2.5 bedroom, its listing says that only two people can move in. It's asking $2,595.
