Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Update: As of Friday morning, the entire sale has "further reductions." Original sale prices are reflected below and in the gallery above.

Dude alert: The Bonobos sample sale is kicking off today at 260 Fifth Avenue, offering up to 70% off retail prices on menswear apparel, accessories, and swimwear. We stopped by the preview last night to find that the deals are good and plenty among the impressive (read: incredibly large) selection.

Check your coat when you get past the entrance and get ready to shop. Everything is organized by clothing type and then by size, up to 40. Price lists are posted throughout the venue, there is a large group fitting room in the back, and plenty of sales associates are on-hand to offer styling tips or opinions.

Now, onto the clothing. Along the left side of the sale, we found racks of dress pants for $49, bins of folded denim, corduroys, and khakis also for $49 and organized according to size, and shirts for $29. Shoppers will also find a rack of tee-shirts ($19) and classic polos ($29) in the back.

Toward the middle of the venue, there is a smattering of outerwear ($79), more dress shirts ($29), and closest to the register, suiting ($109), sweaters ($29), vests, ($49), and sweatshirts ($29).

Before you reach the cash registers, expect to find a large selection of men's accessories for $19, including belts, ties, bow ties, knit beanies, snapbacks, and handkerchiefs. Click through the gallery above to see a few photos of items offered.

The sale runs through Sunday, and we'd bet that further markdowns will hit at least once before then; Check out the Dealfeed below for more details.
