Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

It's opening day for the Loeffler Randall sample sale, if you're not counting the surprise VIP hours that the brand sprung on us yesterday evening. We stopped by the sale 101 Wooster Street before the doors opened to check out all the shoes and bags on offer this time around — and don't worry, there's plenty to go around.

Prices typically hovered between $100 and $200 for both merchandise categories. Some highlights: there's the Lina scalloped d'Orsay flat in black or silver for $125 (from $250); the Piper wedge sandal in black for $175 (from $350); the Timna lace-up sandal in natural for $150 (from $350); the Milly espadrille wedge in black for $125 (from $295); the Sarie strappy flat sandal in multiple colorways for $75 (from $175); the Arielle ankle wrap heel with black stars for $125 (from $325); the Dani lace-up flat sandals in silver for $125 (from $375); the Thea gladiator sandal in olive for $175 (from $375); and the Mara perforated espadrille sandal in black and natural for $75 (from $225).

Styles appeared to be available in all sizes (5-12), with 7 through 8 having a slight advantage in terms of quantity. Check out more of what we saw by checking out our Facebook Live video below, and see the Dealfeed below that to see when you can stop by.
