You always remember your first time...hosting a sample sale in New York City. So the Miami-based Del Toro will certainly remember this weekend, when it'll be offering shoes at up to 85% off retail prices beginning Friday, March 11th at its Soho boutique.

We can turn to our sister site Racked Miami for an idea of how this sale will go, since the brand has been hosting one there right around this time of year for a few seasons now. Discounts that high meant that shoes typically fell between $50 and $175, and the selection for men was larger than the women's. Sizes are usually plentiful in the beginning, but tend to peter out as the sale hits its twilight.

Del Toro first arrived in New York last fall as a pop-up shop with a collaboration by the artist Devin Troy Strothers, and it's since turned into a permanent store. And one of the benefits of having an in-store sample sale — for shoppers, at least — is that all merchandise that's not part of the sale is 15% off.
