MIDTOWN—Saks Fifth Avenue just opened a 700-square foot Prada shoe salon, WWD is reporting. The shop is separate from Saks' already-massive shoe department and features a made-to-order program that offers more than 8,000 combinations, among other exclusives. The department store also exclusively sells the Italian brand's collection of ten unisex fragrances, Prada Olfactories, down on the beauty level.

UPPER EAST SIDE—Michael C. Fina is closing its Park Avenue shop — its only physical retail presence — and moving operations solely online in partnership with Amazon, according to the New York Times. A new wedding registry website will be introduced on April 12th.

BROOKLYN HEIGHTS—Brooklyn's next cat café is opening in May at 149 Atlantic Avenue and will feature adoptable pets from the Brooklyn Bridge Animal Welfare Coalition, DNAinfo is reporting. The organization needs volunteers first to get everything set up, so click here if you want to bring the joy of cat cafés to the neighborhood.
