MIDTOWN—Now that Façonnable has left its Rockefeller Center-adjacent home of more than a decade, there's a 21,000-square foot hole on Fifth Avenue. Real estate scion Faith Consolo predicts to WWD that it'll be replace by "cheap chic or fast-fashion," or perhaps activewear. "Fitness is fashion today," she said. Club Monaco had reportedly been set to take it, but is no longer going forward with those plans.

EAST VILLAGE—When Flywheel debuts its latest New York City studio at Astor Place on Wednesday, March 9th, it won't be the only new thing that's new for the cycling and barre studio. Well + Good has the scoop on its rebranding efforts, which include a redesigned website and app, updated bike consoles, and the "Power 30" half-hour class.

WEST VILLAGE—Neighborhood favorite Cardeology is shutting its doors for good after 29 years, West Side Rag reports. "I'm heartbroken, not just for me but for the whole community," owner Richard Barbosa told the local blog. "People have told me how upset they are." Through its final day on Sunday, everything is on sale.

EAST VILLAGE—"Gentrification in progress." That's what the yellow "caution"-esque tape in front of the shuttered Trash and Vaudeville reads, EV Grieve discovered.
