NOHO—10 Bond Street will see Boglioli much sooner than it'll see Yogasmoga. The Shophound noticed new signage for the Italian menswear label that indicates that the shop — the brand's first in the country — will open in the spring.
EAST VILLAGE—First Avenue is down one spot for cheap candles, shampoo, and kitschy holiday gear. EV Grieve says that the Ricky's on the corner of 7th Street looks to be done for good, since cardboard boxes are littered throughout the store to pack up the remaining merchandise. Luckily, there's more than two dozen other locations scattered around Manhattan.
NOLITA—Elevenparis has quietly removed itself from 6 Prince Street to be swiftly replaced by Lula Laboratorium. Bowery Boogie reports that the store has a lot of streetwear-looking stuff, which fits in well with neighbors like Supra and Black Scale. (Don't get this twisted with the forthcoming Lululemon Lab that's a few blocks north — very different merchandise.)
GREENWICH VILLAGE—Bedford + Bowery took a look at the tumultuous history of Left Bank Books, the indie shop that recently closed its doors for good.
