Fivestory's end-of-season sale begins today inside its picturesque brownstone on the Upper East Side — a departure from the previous seasons, where the discounted merchandise was sold offsite. We popped into Claire Distenfeld's boutique yesterday evening for a sneak preview and found a lot of fancy items marked at 80% off of the original price, making for lots of great savings.
When you first walk into the store, head upstairs to the second level, where you will find the right side of the room lined with brands like Balmain (top, $311), Calvin Klein (dress, $799), Cushnie et Ochs (crop top, $150), Emilia Wickstead, Anthony Vaccarello (dress, $386), and Narsico Rodriguez (leather skirt, $399) on gold metal hangers.
Once you walk back downstairs, you'll pass a table with assorted accessories from Olympia Le-Tan and Anndra Neen, before reaching the main attraction: the middle room. There you'll find pieces from Maiyet (skirt, $219) Emilia Wickstead (Boucle coat, $480), Mary Katrantzou (jacket, $377), and Giambattista Valli, and Nomia (jumpsuit, $99).
