Here is your friendly reminder that the Met Costume Institute's fall showcase, Jacqueline de Ribes: The Art of Style, will wrap up its run on Sunday, February 21st. The deep dive into the socialite and French countess' wardrobe radiates elegance, from evening dresses and blouses to costumes from designers that are the best in the business — Giorgio Armani, Pierre Balmain, Mark Bohan for the House of Dior, Roberto Cavalli, Valentino Garavani, Jean-Paul Gaultier, and Yves Saint Laurent are all present. The exhibit also showcases Ribes' creations from her successful design operation.

"She was always DIY," Harold Koda, the curator in charge of the Costume Institute, said during the opening preview. Koda also recalled Ribes' incredible memory for each for every seam in her clothing, as well as her "intellect, discipline, and rigor."

The exhibit is super-curated (read: a quick visit), but won't fail to transport you to a temporary fantasy realm. After Sunday, the space will shut down to prepare for the spring show, Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology, which will explore technology's impact on fashion.
