Travel to Brooklyn For Diptyque's New Vacation-Themed Pop-Up

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Today, fancy wax brand Diptyque kicks off its pop-up shop at the Invisible Dog,  an art-focused community center in Boerum Hill. This is your chance to shop its new Les Voyages collection of travel-sized skincare, fragrances, and candles displayed on Brooklyn-made furniture — because what else would you expect from this borough? The items will even come packaged in destination-themed boxes.

The goal of this TSA-friendly offering is to transport visitors on a journey based on the travels and memories of Diptyque's founders, Christiane Gautrot, Desmond Knox-Leet, and Yves Coueslant, while evolving its idea of a retail concept in an art-y 'hood.

Diptyque joins Aesop at the Invisible Dog, which is surrounded by Clare V. and the forthcoming Warby Parker. The pop-up will be open through December, selling its usual fare alongside new seasonal launches and exclusive products. Regular hours are 11am to 7pm on Mondays through Saturdays, and 12pm to 6pm on Sundays.
