Indie boutique Jumelle is returning for the weekend with a pop-up sample sale at 142 Grand Street in Brooklyn. We stopped by to check it out yesterday before it opened to the public and were met with an enticing selection of shoes, clothing, and especially gorgeous ceramics.

While the sale wasn't quite finished being set up until after we left, clothing was to the right and shoes and ceramics were to the left as of last night. In shoes, there's a decent selection of styles and fair range of sizes in Dieppa Restrepo, as well as three styles of Maryam Nassir Zadeh sandals ($265). For the Restrepo, booties are $150, ankle boots are $160, and oxfords, loafers, and flats are priced at $125.

Moving towards the back, there are a few pieces of jewelry and small ceramics in a glass case — we particularly liked a gold necklace for $110. There are also a few Le Feu De L'eau candles for $40. A table with various ceramic items is next to the case, including a blue planter for $99. A rack of scarves and blankets that appears to be priced at $125—$145 is placed along the back wall.

In apparel, we saw pieces from brands like A.P.C., Ace & Jig, and Karen Walker, to name a few. There's a decent selection of tops and pants, but we didn't see that many dresses and skirts. Styles of note include a brightly printed Karen Walker dress ($145), a blue Veronique Leroy sweater ($145), and light-wash Rag & Bone jeans ($99).

There are also a few sets of Fredericks & Mae wooden dominoes for $50, and there will be arrows from the same brand available for $75. We were also told that there will be bins of accessories placed around the room with items priced at $25.

While there are a number of great pieces from great brands, this sale isn't overflowing with merchandise. There are no dressing rooms, so dress accordingly if you think you'll want to try something on. The sale runs through Sunday at 7pm Monday at 5pm; see the Dealfeed below for more details.
