LOWER EAST SIDE—In a profile with The Business of Fashion, Supreme mastermind James Jebbia broke down his plans for global expansion — and they don't include here. "The plan was never to open six shops in New York." He continued, "I've seen a lot of brands fail because they went, ‘Hey, look, we're from New York, and that's what we're all about.' But wherever you go, people are proud of where they are," he said. "So even though we're from New York, what we do is a mindset: it's got to work in Japan, in Los Angeles, London, wherever."

CIVIC CENTER—Those who were greatly concerned about Reem Acra's choice of attire for her recent City Hall wedding can rest easy. WWD followed up with the designer, who said that a formal ceremony with friends and family is in the works. "Currently, I am designing a custom wedding dress for myself to wear at our wedding celebration."

WILLIAMSBURG—The Whole Foods you all have been waiting and/or dreading is slated to make its debut this summer, according to a statement obtained by Bedford + Bowery. The company sneakily took down its signage for its "late spring" arrival a while back; a formal opening date announcement is expected to come soon.

NEW YORK CITY—Alexa Chung has brought her "Future of Fashion" video series to NYC, where familiar faces like Veda's Lyndsey Butler, Joseph Altuzurra, and Opening Ceremony co-founders Humberto Leon and Carol Lim talk about what it takes to keep their companies afloat, reports Fashionista.

TRIBECA—The neighborhood is getting another hair salon at 317 Church Street courtesy of Roman Kusayev, a John Barrett and Butterfly Salon alum who opened his own salon in Flatiron under the name Roman K two years ago. According to Tribeca Citizen, the space belonged to two salons prior.
