Let it be known that 2016 is the year that music-related pop-ups took over NYC — especially the Bowery. While Kanye West and Justin Bieber took their events to Soho earlier this year, Drake and Bad Boy Entertainment both posted up on the Bowery within the past month with swag like T-shirts on the street the dissects the East Village from Noho and the Lower East Side from Soho. And now, The Strokes have set up shop in a former furniture store at 352 Bowery.

The long-running band known for hits like "12:51" have an EP titled "Future Present Past" coming out on Friday — the same day that they perform at Governor's Ball — so this one is more akin to Views shop rather than the Purpose or The Life of Pablo ones, where fans could pick up tour merchandise regardless of whether they were attending a concert. It's billed under the name "No Room" and set up like a record store that's stocked with just the band's music:

And in addition to checking out daily DJ sets, shoppers can also pick up coffee drinks from Everyman Espresso, taking it a step further than their predecessors — so whichever musician pops up next better come prepared.

"No Room" is open daily from noon to 9pm on June 5th, but they'll stay open late Thursday night for a midnight release of the EP, according to the band's Facebook.
