Sunglasses to Pick Up in Local Stores Right Now

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

There are so many different sunglasses stores in New York City that it can be difficult to know where to start. If you’re without a pair to wear to celebrate today — National Sunglasses Day, a fake holiday we can totally throw our money behind — we’ve scouted out five pairs currently in local stores that you will want to reach for today and for the rest of the summer.
