Deepcover Completes the Vintage Trifecta on the Lower East Side

Get ready to win all of the #tbt points with Deepcover, the men's vintage shop that's now open on Allen Street. Bowery Boogie notes that it's joining the nearby Procell, a vintage store that specializes in concert tees, and La Petit Mort, the IRL shop for the vintage e-commerce website, forming what the local blog is calling the perfect trifecta — that just so happens make you feel old.

Located at 162 Allen Street, Deepcover sells snapbacks, jerseys, and graphic tee shirts, plus all the Polo, Tommy Hilfiger, and Calvin Klein gear that was so popular in the 1990s, making it an obvious addition for our next list of the best vintage stores in New York City. Perusing through its Instagram feed, its merchandise feels like a cross between Mr. Throwback and Claw & Co.

The neighborhood blog also noted that Deepcover will add a bit of retail diversity to this area — mingling with Bluestockings Book Store, a Japanese ramen counter, a new hotel that's in the works, and a few mom-and-pop tailors — and will hopefully help to bolster foot traffic here.
