Wooster Street's got the goose — Canada Goose, that is. The Real Deal is reporting that the Toronto-based brand that just can't seem to keep its goose down coats with fur-trimmed hoods in stock just signed on for a 4,400-square-foot store at 101 Wooster Street.

The brand doesn't have any US stores right now, but you can find these jackets everywhere from Barneys to Intermix to Steven Alan to Story sample sales.

The space used to belong to Patagonia, which has since moved to 72 Greene Street. Canada Goose will be in the same neighborhood as other big name outerwear brands like Moncler, Mackage, Stone Island, and Snow Peak — it'll be just a short walking distance from each of them, so it'll be interesting to see how winter coat shoppers respond to a new entry in the ever-popular puffer jacket field.

On the block, Canada Goose's immediate neighbors include Tiffany & Co. and Chanel. No word yet on when the store will be open for business, but we will be sure to update you as we learn more.
