Ahead of Westfield World Trade Center's August 16th debut, the Commercial Observer is reporting that a few more stores are joining the shopping hub's already massive roster. New retailers including Forever 21, Kit and Ace, and Smythson are now a part of a high/low mashup of brands like & Other Stories, Michael Kors, Kiehl's, and Victoria's Secret.

However, we haven't heard much about what's opening when — just that Eataly will beat them all with a July debut.

And underground, a portion of the transportation hub is being taken over by ads — specifically, a 280-foot long, nine-and-a-half-foot tall electronic billboard, according to the New York Times. There is some chatter that using the space for marketing is covering up memories of September 11th, but Westfield Corporation maintains that "the objective is to create ‘moments of interest' for those passing through the east-west gallery."
