Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Denim destination Courtshop started a love affair with Brooklyn when it opened a Williamsburg boutique back in 2014, and now the two are taking it to the next level. Courtshop is leaving its Nolita after eight years at the end of July to focus solely on its Brooklyn operation (and the world of e-commerce).

"Brooklyn is a more lively shopping area," Courtshop’s Lisa Fuller wrote in an email. "We've got amazing customers at each location for sure, but the action is in Williamsburg. Our online store is super busy as well, with customers from all over, including a ton in NYC."

While Manhattan’s downtown shoppers will soon need to cross water to find all of Courtshop’s latest styles in one place, they can take advantage of its huge moving sale now through July 31st. Prices are similar to their recent sample sales: Jeans are $50, jackets are $45, dresses and overalls are $40, and shorts and skirts are $35.
