NEW YORK CITY—New York Rangers goalie and King of New York Henrik Lundqvist has a new moniker, thanks to this mini-profile in the New York Times: "perhaps the most stylish guy in the National Hockey League." In it, he names his favorite brands: Ferragamo, Stephen F, Ferragamo (yep, twice), Tag Heuer, and Tiger of Sweden.

CHELSEA—A tipster reports that longtime neighborhood stalwart EFOR is in the midst of a closing sale. Marked-down items include AG jeans, Nike sneakers, plus items from G Star, Scotch and Soda, and Fred Perry. The store is expected to shutter at the end of the month.

EAST VILLAGE—Jeremiah's Vanishing New York has snapshots of the Trash and Vaudeville move. "Out went alien heads, framed Ramones posters, and Doc Martens boot stands. Boxes, crates, and lots of hot-pink bags." The nostalgic blogger also mentions that the building has been sold.

MIDTOWN—Bergdorf Goodman's outsides are catching up with its insides. Following the debut of its revamped jewelry salons last month, The Shophound took note of its new exteriors slowly being unveiled over the past few days. Perhaps they're fast-tracking renovations like these before the Landmarks Preservation Committee gets to them?

NEW YORK CITY—Rumors flew last year that President Obama would teach at his alma mater Columbia Law School post-White House, but Barry reminded the New York Times of something important: Dad's still got a kid in school. The Obamas will stay put in Washington at least until Sasha graduates from Sidwell Friends School in 2019. "Transferring someone in the middle of high school —€” tough," he quipped. Here's hoping at least one Obama will join us in the fall.
