The Coolest Items to Buy at the CFDA Fashion Incubator Sale (Update)

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Update: As of Thursday afternoon, prices are an additional 25% off at Brother Vellies. Original prices are reflected in the gallery above.

Now's your chance to save on the labels that the CFDA is betting on hitting the big time. There's a sample sale going on in the Garment District for the brands in its "fashion incubator," a two-year business program that helps bolster young companies, many of which happened to be based in NYC.

Right now, those labels are Alix, Ddugoff, Haerfest, Ji Oh, K/ller, Haus Alkire, Brother Vellies, Thaddeus O'Neill, Charles Youseff, and Yestadt Millinery. We checked out the sale this morning just after doors opened at 10 a.m. and quickly figured out that it's definitely worth visiting 209 West 38th Street sooner rather than later.

For Brother Vellies, styles like the Lamu sandals, the denim babouche slides, the guava sphere sandals, and several different colors of erongos are all marked 75% off retail price. Alix has discounted bodysuits from its current and past collections, including the Cornelia. Haerfest is where to go for leather backpacks, wallets, and even luggage tags.

Ji Oh's current resort collection is already on sale, and K/ller has a selection of mirrored crystal rings, cast chain rings, and ghost peak rings to choose from. Plus, there were a lot of brightly-printed tops and pants at Thaddeus O'Neil and Ddugoff.

But just don't take our word for it — click through the gallery above to see a few of the standout styles offered at the sale. It runs through Thursday, and you can check out the Dealfeed below for more details on how to stop by.
