Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

It's not just vintage collectors who should be trekking down to Industry City this weekend. Anyone with even a remote interest in fashion should make plans to check out the latest New York addition of A Current Affair, the Los Angeles-born vintage fair that brings together spectacular collections of clothes, accessories, and jewelry that spans centuries.

It's an event that regularly brings in designers and editors for inspiration, and this year it'll be hosted by Jodie Snyder Morel and Danielle Snyder, the sisters behind Dannijo (past NYC hosts include Harper's Bazaar executive editor Laura Brown and musician Tennessee Thomas). As hosts, they have the fun job of perusing all the vendors and styling ten looks that'll be displayed and available for purchase.

Local vintage hunters will recognize a lot of names here — MaevenAmarcord, Screaming Mimi's, Morphew, and People of Tomorrow are among the 80 vendors displaying here. (Sound overwhelming? Read up on tips for conquering a vintage show.) And Housing Works has been tapped to set up a lounge with seating from their own stores, which will be available for purchase.

General admission tickets start at $12, and you can pick them up here.
