Design Inspo: Fifteen Brands That Will Make You Rethink Your Entire Apartment

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

You don't have to be plugged in to the furniture world to get a kick out of NYCxDESIGN; you just have to be interested in good looking things. For the past two weeks, there have been over five hundred decor and design-related shows across the city that, individually, are enough to get you rethinking the vibe of your entire apartment. Put them altogether, and you're ready to throw out everything you own and replace it with, say, a pom-pom chandelier.

One of the most fun shows is Sight Unseen Offsite, which this year, brought more than six dozen independent designers to the Grace Building in Bryant Park.

Check out the gallery above for a handful of highlights, like geometric Aelife tables, Dusen Dusen pillows and throws, Saint Karen smiley-face ceramics, and vases by Elyse Graham. Plus, take a look at some of our favorite brands via their Instagrams below (and find more from the entire fair here).
