MIDTOWN—Saks Fifth Avenue is hosting an emerging designer showcase on April 5th — want to be a part of it? Designers are invited to submit all women's ready-to-wear look books to fashionoffice@saks.com. Make sure you have eight to 12 samples available to view.

CHELSEA—Relive the joy of childhood forts with Target's interactive Pillowfort installation happening this weekend at Highline Stages (440 W 15th St). Serving as an introduction to its new children's home collection of the same name, the free event is open to the public on Friday, March 4th from 1pm to 7pm and Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 6pm.

MIDTOWN—Here's another one for the young set: Bloomingdale's flagship has major celebration plans for its newly-revamped bKids section on the fifth floor. Stop by on Thursday, March 3rd to get a preview of 7 for All Mankind's and Diesel's spring collections for kids starting at 2pm, and return on Saturday to join Splendid & Ella Moss for a tea party hosted by Magnolia Bakery starting at noon. FLATIRON—Let The Fhitting Room test your limits with its Survival of the Fhittest community building challenge, which is part of its three-year anniversary. Join the boutique gym on Saturday March 5th at 2:30pm at 31 West 19th Street to partake in competitive workouts, where male and female winners will be crowned in each event, as well as overall. RSVP to info@fhittingroom.com if you'd like to participate (there's prizes at stake!), but no notice required if you just want to stop by and watch.

MIDTOWN—Join street style favorite and premiere plus-sized blogger Nicolette Mason at Lord & Taylor on Thursday, March 3rd to view her new capsule collection for Michel Studio by Addition Elle. Check out the fashion presentation and enjoy light snacks to the sounds of DJ Beats between 6pm and 8pm.
