Now Hiring: Racked NY Is Looking for Spring Interns

Driely S./Racked

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Racked New York is seeking part-time paid interns for the spring! Responsibilities include writing, researching, and assisting with various editorial projects at our Bryant Park office.

That includes, but isn't limited to: attending sample sales and writing reports, transcribing interviews, summarizing news and events for articles, assisting with social media accounts, and scouting neighborhoods for retail news. Additionally, interns will have the opportunity to pitch and execute one-off features for the site, whether that's a shopping guide or an in-depth reported piece.

We're looking for someone to begin in early April and stay on for at least three months. Promising interns could have the option to extend their internship, or to continue as freelancers.

To apply, please email ny@racked.com with the subject line "Racked New York Internship Application" and a few paragraphs about yourself and why you think you're a good fit for the job, plus a resumé and 2-3 relevant writing samples. Prospective candidates will be contacted in the coming days for a brief interview.
