On Thursday, June 9th, Alexander Wang will headline The Metropolitan Museum of Art's talk series The Atelier With Alina Cho. Wang is the fifth fashion insider to chat about the intersection of art and fashion with the journalist, whose previous guests include Alber Elbaz, Diane von Furstenberg, Donatella Versace, and Anna Wintour.

If there was a face for the creative version of the American Dream, it'd be Alexander Wang. A college dropout-turned-designer with luxurious hair and a decade's worth of fashionable feats — winning the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund just one year after launching his eponymous label, that insane collaboration with H&M, and briefly taking the helm at Balenciaga, just to name a few — Wang will no doubt drop gems of knowledge during his chat. Here's hoping he shares thoughts on Fashion Week's era of experimentation, including its shoppable runways.

The talk begins at 6:30 p.m. and tickets start at $40, which also includes admission to the museum's galleries and exhibitions. If you can't attend IRL, don't worry — you can watch the live stream.
