When you first enter the Comme Des Garçons sale at Skylight Clarkson Square, it's a bit overwhelming — the amount of merchandise is seemingly endless. But there is, in fact, a limit to how much you can shop: CDG's been going through its backstock so quickly that the sale is closing after tomorrow evening, completely taking Monday off the schedule.
That being said, you wouldn't know that merchandise was running low if you were inside. Going carefully through each and every rack in the massive venue takes more than an hour (and longer if you're stopping to try stuff on), and by the time you get back to where you started, you notice new pieces that weren't there previously.
We saw some items we recognized from the preview and opening days, but if you're going for a second (or third) look this weekend, you certainly won't be bored with repeats. Take a look at what we found today in the gallery above, all marked with prices, except in the cases where there were no price tags; ask a sales associate for assistance if that's the case.
It's still mostly CDG and Junya Watanabe, with Dover Street market labels, particularly Simone Rocha and Erdem, sprinkled throughout. All of the same things we noticed about women's accessories (not a lot) and shoes (less than men's), still held true today.
We arrived right when the doors open to find that the line, while still incredibly long, didn't quite reach yesterday's lengths. However, given that word of the early closing wasn't out at that time, more brand fans might have arrived since then. Check out the Dealfeed below to see the remaining hours.
